Completion of two successful campaigns in the North Sea

Pre-commissioning for a valued client

We’re excited to announce the successful completion of two extensive campaigns in the North Sea earlier this year. Working closely with one of our clients, we mobilized our SubComm for the operations.

The SubComm embarked on a series of critical tasks aimed at enhancing the efficiency and integrity of the underwater infrastructure.

From the moment we mobilized on the 31st of July 2023, to the demobilization on the 5th of September 2023, every aspect of these campaigns was executed with precision all thanks to the Subsea Commissioning System.

The first campaign involved flooding, cleaning, and gauging operations, facilitated by a pigging train. Covering a distance of 3.7 kilometers with a 16-inch pipe.

Simultaneously, we conducted the flushing of towed spools. With 12-inch pipes spanning 330 meters. Additionally, we conducted a thorough pressure test for PL-E to ensure adherence to safety standards.

However, perhaps the most remarkable aspect of these campaigns lies not just in the successful completion of tasks, but in the tangible benefits realized by our client. Through the utilization of our SubComm systems, our client was able to significantly reduce expenditure, consolidating all necessary equipment for spool installation and gauging operations onto a single vessel. This solution not only streamlined the logistical processes, but also optimized resource utilization.

In summary, the completion of two successful campaigns in the North Sea represents another triumph. As we look ahead, we remain committed to driving innovation and excellence in subsea operations.
